Manifest Shakti is a multidisciplinary creative sanctuary offering a wide range of services, including writing, editing, and production, for those seeking to spark, refine, and elevate their storytelling. We also sell printed matter, now featuring “The Love Letter,” an illustrated epic poem by Faith Shakti Heyliger, illustrated by Rasa Vaisvilaite, along with accompanying notebooks, postcards, prints, and more. 

 

Founder Faith Shakti Heyliger is a Harlem-born Catskills-based metaphysical performing poet. Her sensational poetic prose seeks embodiment: her words yearn to be spoken into existence. Faith invokes Eastern and Western philosophies, dances in the liminal, and invites moments of deep feeling, magic, and presence.

Manifest Shakti aims to encourage authentic expression, restorative connection, and play. We believe in the essential power of the creative arts to heal, to die, to transform, to come into being. One by one, we are building a creative and compassionate community where people feel accepted as they are and energized to explore the possibilities.

 

Collaboration is at the core of Manifest Shakti. Each year will birth a fresh (and hopefully ongoing) collaboration with an artist. Whether an illustrator, a painter, a dancer, a videographer, a musician, or a performer, no matter the art form, I look forward to lifting them up and supporting them in their creative pursuits, and to creating something sensational that can only be made through conversation.

Our Story

 

This company was initially formed to finally release “The Love Letter.” Self-published back in 2021, The Love Letter is only now getting the love and attention it deserves. Faith let The Love Letter collect dust to invest in the immediacy of Motherhood. Five years and two fantastic kids later, Faith is back to infuse a little magic into your daily lives by letting The Love Letter loose and inviting people into its universe. Thus far, it has been received with warmth, curiosity, and excitement. 

 

Faith started selling in May 2026. Her book is in Citiot in Catskill, Inquiring Minds in Saugerties, and Sonderbar in Woodstock, NY. She has participated in Basilica Hudson’s Farm & Flea Summer and Spring Markets in Hudson, NY; Red Owl Flea’s Market; Phoenicia Flea’s Market in Kingston, NY; and Hawthorne Valley’s Roots and Relics Market. She will be participating in the Hudson Valley Wine and Food Fest in Rhinebeck, Hawthorne Valley’s Harvest Festival, the Openbaar Festival in Albany, and the Literary Escapes 2027 Festival in London. She will be performing in the Poetry by Candlelight Series at The Little Bookshop in Bushwick, NY, with my book on the shelf in September.

With over 10 years of metamorphosis, “The Love Letter” is a manifestation of the heart’s speech. A book about love, transformation, and self-discovery, this collaboration between Heyliger and Vaisvilaite is the first in a series of manifestos where word and image spark imagination and sow seeds of comfort, reflection, and joy.

Manifest Shakti is mobile for now, living and breathing through its founder, but Faith wishes to establish her own non-profit artist sanctuary one day, providing creative services, entertainment, fully funded residencies, and support to the local community, with an emphasis on small businesses, emerging artists, and creative parents. She has found a community of artists, patrons, and small business owners in the Catskills. Those who have lost their spark, those who are fighting for it, those who are blazing, and those who have yet to discover it. She would like to continue to organically grow this community and host salons, workshops, and retreats– step by step, manifesting this dream.
